Check the Tap Water in your community ... ours has Chorline... Which will indeed determine the health of what you are trying to grow.

Not everyone is rich to afford this kind printer that is almost $2000. Must be nice. I'll stick with something else that gets the job done and is below $100.

After cutting your grass, can you continue to grow form the same batch? Or, is it one and done?

Please stop covering your microgreens with that Cap. You risk bacteria fungus and mold. Just put them in a place with very little light like your black rack and they will stretch. This is why insurance for a micro farm is so high people take crazy risks.

you can just put the tray on the shelf without lights and they will stretch anyways. putting that cap on top locks in bacteria and mold.

soil is $219/yard over 1000 trays Shop around buy in bulk. That is Canadian dollars so US it is more like $150. HP soil is shaved hardwood peat moss and compost. All you need is shaved hardwood and peat moss you could mix your own and save even more.

Hydroponic mats use latex to glue them together and more people are allergic to Latex then wheat.

I was speaking with someone about the trays and blackout and they said to flip it. I misunderstood and I thought she meant to flip the sprouted seeds into the tray without holes. (Yes dum dum here) and when I realized what she meant after watching this video my question is will my sunflower sprouts still find its way to the top of the soil? I see a few of them have because they weren't fully buried but will they all?
